Laqawn joined Christian Services for Children in Alabama in 2007 as a Family Preservation Specialist. Laqawn believes she has earned a wealth of experience from the families whom she has had the opportunity to work with. Her “witty” personality is found to be quite an asset as she builds rapport with her families. Professionally, she has developed expertise in conflict resolution, advocacy skills building, parent skills training, crisis management and supportive counseling.
She graduated from Miles College, Birmingham, Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She enjoyed a successful academic career culminating with the President and Dean’s List while studying. Laqawn looks forward to furthering her studies in the field of Social Work. |
